Improve SATA drive performance in Windows Vista
Windows Vista has built I support for improving the performance of SATA hard rives but by default these performance settings are disabled. You can enable this performance option from the Device Manager. Open the run command window and type “devmgmt.msc”. You can also access the Device Manager by typing device into the search box.
Once the Device Manager window appears, expand the disk drives and select the SATA drive. Choose Policies tab and tick the “Enable write caching on disk” option. Also, tick the “Enable advanced performance” option. Press OK to confirm the changes.
You may face problem working on your PC, no matter which OS you are using. Deleting or starting any program program from registry can affect other programs on the PC. You need PCDOCPRO registry cleaner which knows what to delete in case you face any registry problem.
